Jennifer Grayson shares why you should avoid moisturizers that contain any of the following ingredients:

  1. Phthalates
  2. Parabens
  3. Fragrance
  4. Sodium laureth/lauryl sulfate
  5. Oxybenzone

She also adds a very handy database that I have used and appreciate: "Search for your product among the nearly 60,000 listed on Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep cosmetic safety database."

It's surprising to me how difficult it is to find sunscreen w/o oxybenzone.
