Tulare County Sheriff's Department ordered 152 TASERs from Taser International, Taser Int'l reports via RTT News' "Taser International Announces Receipt of Various Orders". Corpus Christi Police Department ordered 120 TASERs. So as taser ordering shows no signs of coming to a dead halt in the wake of the first ever successful lawsuit against Taser International, their stocks continue to fall after an initial stock plummet June 09th by 10%.

TASER International, Inc. a manufacturer of electronic control devices, on Thursday announced that it has received several orders recently. The company expects to ship all orders in the second quarter of 2008.

The company received an order from Tulare County Scheriff's Department, which ordered 152 TASER X26 ECDs, 152 TASER CAM units and related accessories.

TASER also received two follow-on orders, one from the Corpus Christi Police Department for 120 TASER X26 ECDs and related accessories and the other from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for TASER related accessories.

Chief Executive Officer of TASER, Rick Smith commented, "The Tulare County Sheriff's Department joins more than 12,750 law enforcement agencies in the United States, Canada and more than 40 other countries worldwide in deploying TASER ECDs."

TASER International's stock is currently trading at $5.47, down 4 cents or 0.69%.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

They are sneaking them out in the local papers. Somehow they talked the Australians into believing how safe they are and the plan is by 2015 every single police officer in the entire Australian Police Force will have a Taser International XM-26 Taser. The highest power taser they make and the worlds largest taser order..... Great !!!!

Just want we don't want nor need
